Living Spaces

There are three spacious "living rooms" that invite guests to mingle and unwind: the expansive foyer (complete with a piano), a garden room with a door that connects seamlessly to that large patio and outdoors and a traditional living room with a large l-shaped robin's egg blue leather couch for the ultimate comfortable hangout.

Kitchen & Dining Areas

The long beautiful kitchen with its antique island makes it easy to cook for a crowd. The three separate dining areas seat up to 20 and offer plenty of space and options for gathering to share meals together. There is a dining area off of the living room, a breakfast nook off of the kitchen and a beautiful dining room for more elegant affairs.

Beds & Baths

The farmhouse features two luxurious primary suites, a room with two single beds, and a family suite, which includes one queen-sized bed, one single bed, and an adjoining room with three single beds and an ensuite bathroom, providing ample room for up to twelve guests to sleep comfortably in the Main House. The Cottage has room for up to 8 guests.

Outdoor Spaces

Guests will have no problem finding a quiet spot to reflect, connect and enjoy the surrounding nature at Spotswood Lodge. There is a gorgeous bluestone patio off of the garden room, a side porch off of the living room and a traditional front porch on The Main House. The gardens, weeping willows and pond just add to the mystique and natural beauty.

Living Spaces & Kitchenette

The cottage is bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. It packs in a sitting area, kitchenette, laundry, 3 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms! The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker. The laundry area has a large full sized washer and dryer that can be used by all guests in the Cottage or Main House.

As you enter the Spotswood Cottage you walk directly into a warm, welcoming and thoughtfully designed living room with comfortably seating, a coffee table, standing lamp and large clock on the wall.

The Spotswood Cottage is designed with a well-equipped kitchenette for guests' convenience.

The stylish open cabinetry is where glasses and dishes are stores for easy access.

Next to the living room there is an alcove that conveniently offers guests access to a washer and dryer to use throughout their stay.

Directly next door to the living room there is a hallway that leads to a first floor bedroom as well as the staircase that leads to the second floor rooms.

The first floor bedroom features exposed beams, original fireplace, comfortable queen bed and a mini-sink inside the room for convenience.

The single bed is comfortably spaced across the room from the king bed and positioned beside the large double windows as well as vintage chest for side table access and storage.

Beds & Baths

The cottage can sleep 8 comfortably. It has a queen bedroom and a pull out couch on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has king bed and a single. The full bath on the first floor is off the living room and available for all guests to use. The two bedrooms upstairs have attached full baths.

Outdoor Spaces

Off of the Cottage there is a beautiful flat lawn perfect for games (croquet, corn hole, flag football!) or a tented event. Behind the cottage are gardens and more lawn great for sunbathing and/or setting up an outdoor dinner event.
